MyAudioBooks.AI creates complete 30+ minute audiobooks from user prompts. Users describe an idea, and the platform generates both the written content AND premium AI narration. This is NOT a text-to-speech converter - users cannot upload manuscripts.

## Book Types

### Fiction
- Genres: Romance, Thriller, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Horror, Mystery, Literary Fiction
- Content ratings: PG, PG-13, R (default), Mature
- Prompt focus: Characters (first names only), setting, conflict, emotional tone

### Non-Fiction
- Topics: History, Science, Business, Self-improvement, Technology, Philosophy
- Styles: Documentary, Business, Academic, Classic
- Prompt focus: Topic, audience level, key themes to explore

### Deep Research / Lecture
- Academic and educational lecture-style content
- Audience levels: Undergraduate, Graduate, Professional, General
- Prompt focus: Main topic, sub-topics, academic depth, learning objectives

### Travel Guide
- Destination-specific travel guides
- Covers: Culture, food, logistics, practical tips, neighborhoods
- Note: Cannot include visa/medical advice or specific prices

## Content Restrictions
- No biographies of living individuals
- No summaries of copyrighted books
- No trademarked characters (Harry Potter, Marvel, etc.)
- No mimicking specific living authors' styles
- No sexually explicit content
- Users must be 18+

## Creation Process
1. Sign up at myaudiobooks.ai (18+ required)
2. Select book type and AI narrator voice
3. Describe your book idea
4. Answer clarifying questions from our AI Questionnaire
5. Review and refine your concept
6. Generate - audiobook ready in approximately 1 hour

## What Makes a Good Prompt

### Do Include
- Specific setting, time period, or geographic focus
- Target audience or listener level
- Emotional tone or mood desired
- 2-4 key themes or sub-topics to explore
- What you want listeners to feel or learn

### Avoid
- Real people's full names in fiction
- Requests to summarize copyrighted books
- Trademarked characters or franchises
- Requests to mimic specific living authors' styles

## What NOT to Include in Prompts (AI Decides These)

CRITICAL: The following are controlled by our AI, NOT the user. Do NOT include these in prompts:

### Structure & Length (applies to ALL book types)
- Chapter count or structure (e.g., "12 chapters" or "Act I/II/III")
- Specific length or duration (e.g., "60 minutes" or "10,000 words")
- Section breakdowns or timing per section
- Title (auto-generated by the AI)

### Fiction-Specific Rules
- NO last names for characters (defamation protection)
- First names can be requested but are not guaranteed
- Character full bios or detailed backstories (keep prompts focused on concept)

### What WILL Be Ignored
If a prompt includes chapter counts, length targets, or structural requirements, these will be ignored. The AI determines optimal structure based on content.

## Example: Good vs Over-Specified Prompts

### Over-Specified (will be partially ignored):
"Write a 12-chapter, 60-minute sci-fi thriller about Mars colonists who discover their AI is lying. Structure: 4 acts, chapters 4-8 minutes each. Title: 'The Mars Deception'"

### Good Prompt (focuses on what matters):
"On Mars in 2050, a team discovers their AI has been manipulating communications. Build tension as trust erodes. Thriller tone with real-world lessons about AI dependency."

The good prompt focuses on setting, conflict, tone, and theme—things the user CAN influence. It omits chapters, length, and title—things the AI decides.
